The Perfect Example of Love

Like it or not, we live in a world of unrealistic and twisted expectations on love. As a believer in Christ, we sit back and watch as sin has separated us from our Heavenly Father. I've been thinking so much about this lately, how God has set the ultimate example of Love, and how can I show that to the best of my abilities with the people I care about the most. How can I love her like God loved the church? How can I love my family and friends like He would?

Starting and Ending my Day With God

I've found it so helpful starting and ending my day with prayer. Getting that time with God is such an important stepping stone on how I can live my day FOR GOD instead of living my day for the world. The separation from Him hurts my heart dearly but spending time with Him and His Word,, Worship, Prayer, Fellowship are all different ways to help me feel more connected. So starting and ending your day with God is something that has helped me tremendously.

How Would God Want Me to Love this Human?

We're all human, no one is perfect and with sin, we are all imperfect but made perfect through the blood of Jesus. I know one thing that is so so powerful is thinking of every person you meet and see throughout your day is struggling with something in their life. Something I've found helpful is thinking how would God want me to love this person, how would He want me to show His love and light up this person's broken heart no matter where they are in their life. Wake up and pursue Love.

God is the Perfect Example of Love

As Christians, we must hold strong to His Presence and Example of Love. We're constantly being spoon fed lies on what true love is and how we should love when God gives us His commandments on Love itself. Love as a Christ loved the church. Hope you all have a blessed day!
